Platform 125

“Revenge Like a ghost, it consumes everyone it touches”
The Platform as expected was empty; no one tends to use the train on a Sunday Morning. The grey concrete was almost symmetrical to the sky; the dull environment was enough to suck the life out of anyone who used the platform that day. The bench that rested in the middle of the platform seemed strangely out of place, it didn’t belong there. The wooden fence that surrounded the Platform walkway forced anyone who uses it towards the platform, no turning back.
Platform 215 the only way in and out of town that doesn’t involve a long two hour walk, the 10: 15 train was on time as it always was; slowly it came to a halt perfectly next to the platform, leaving only a small gap in which passengers stepped over to reach the platform from the train. The sound of heavy footsteps echoed around the platform, breaking the silents. Two boys sprinted up the walkway in an attempted not to miss the train. The boys managed to squeeze through the doorway before they closed shut behind them. They sat opposite one another, a small table between them both.

The taller boy, Louis ran his hand though his already messy hair then began to relax into the blue sponge of the chair. The other boy Oscar remained tense and kept his gaze on Louis, he was smaller than Louis but made up for it in his built. He was unsettled and played with his bracelet to comfort him. “Would you relax, we made it on the train didn’t we” Louis voiced broke Oscar’s concentration on his bracelet. “No thanks to you we could have missed it, but you wouldn’t get up in time” Oscar said defensively. Louis smirked then focused his attention out the window at the scenes rushing by. You got any idea what you’re going to get her yet? Asked Louis, Not a clue replied Oscar, hey thanks for coming with me today man, your better at this crap then I am, no problem I didn’t have any plans for today anyway. The two boys fell silent for the remainder of the journey, Louis continued to stare out the window and Oscar went back to fiddling with his bracelet.
